WALNUT HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) - A historic home in the Queen City is undergoing restoration. Work is being done both inside and outside at the Harriet Beecher Stowe House on Gilbert Avenue in Walnut Hills. Stowe was the influential anti-slavery author who wrote "Uncle Tom's Cabin." A new ramp is going in and the entrance is moving. The foundation has been stabilized and brick walls were uncovered when an old doorway was opened. It's taken years of research and planning to get the restoration project off the ground. CLICK HERE to see full story and photo slideshow at Local12.com.
