Mission
We sustain and grow the legacy of Harriet Beecher Stowe, the Beecher family’s Cincinnati home, and its time as the Edgemont Inn. We facilitate historical exploration, inspire positive change, and support dialogue about social issues related to that heritage.

The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is currently managed by the nonprofit Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House in relationship with the Ohio History Connection. For more on museum's founding, check out the 20th century history of the house.
