Host your Event at the Harriet Beecher Stowe House

The Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Cincinnati's historic Walnut Hills neighborhood is a wonderful space to host parties, meetings, workshops, presentations, and more. The house’s rich history provides an elegant backdrop for many kinds of events, and the grand staircase is a wonderful location for photo opportunities.

Rental fees are as follows:

For the general public
  • $250/up to 3 hours          
  • $500/up to 6 hours          
  • Additional time billed at $85/hour

For non-profit or educational institutions
  • $200/up to 3 hours          
  • $400/up to 6 hours     
  • Additional time billed at $70/hour

​You’re welcome to bring your own catering. If you are a member of the Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House, please contact us for additional discounted rates. 

Capacity & Details

  1. Tavern: 16-20 at tables or 30 in seated rows. Podium and TV monitor available.
  2. Parlor: Salon style discussion seating for up to 12.
  3. Study: Salon style discussion seating for up to 12.
  4. Conference Room: Up to 20 seated at tables and chairs. TV monitor and whiteboard available. *Note--room is located upstairs.*
  5. Outdoor Classroom: 30 at tables, including 1 ADA table accessed via crushed rock path.
If all House spaces are used in an open house/reception format, total capacity is 70-80.
