Harriet Beecher Stowe House Joins Museums for All

Museums for All part of museum's commitment to seek, include and welcome all audiences
 
(CINCINNATI)– Harriet Beecher Stowe House is a new member of Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

Visitors receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits can present a current Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card with photo ID for $1 admission for each member of their party.  Museums for All is part of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House’s broad commitment to seek, include, and welcome all audiences.

Museums for All helps expand access to museums and raise public awareness about how museums in the U.S. are reaching their entire communities. More than 250 institutions participate in the initiative, including art museums, children’s museums, science centers, botanical gardens, zoos, history museums, and more. Participating museums are located nationwide, representing more than 40 states.

The Harriet Beecher Stow​e House celebrates the life, family, and legacy of author and activist Harriet Beecher Stowe. Harriet is primarily known for her book, Uncle Tom's Cabin, and its contributions to the Civil War. Located in the historic neighborhood of Walnut Hills in Cincinnati, OH, the Harriet Beecher Stowe House hosts educational tours, lectures, and readings.
